FAQs
What is RomantiConn?
It’s a fun-filled event where authors and readers share their love of fangirling, book-boyfriends, and all things related to books and romance.
RomantiConn is committed to bring attendees a variety of subgenres to fully explore the vast array of romance. RomantiConn supports all authors—best-selling, newbie, international, independently published, and traditionally published.
Do all of the authors write romance?
Yes.
What subgenres and tropes do the authors write?
That depends on the list of authors. We're committed to providing you as many different options as possible. We are an inclusive event and support romance authors of all subgenres and tropes.
Do the authors have audiobooks?
Many do. Some will have them available for sale at the event, others are not able to sell them privately, but the authors can let you know where to find theirs for purchase.
Will authors have their books available for me to purchase at the event?
Yes. Most will set up a pre-order form so you will be sure to get the titles you want.
What payment methods are accepted by authors and vendors?
Most have card readers so you can use debit/credit cards. All will take cash.
Will there be audiobook narrators and book cover models at the event?
That depends on the year, but we try our best to bring them to you as well. Be sure to check the page with the list of attending authors, vendors, narrators, and models.
How many days is the event?
RomantiConn is a two-day event. It begins on Friday with panels at 8am (for readers who hold a ticket which gives them entry to them) and ends on Saturday at 4pm after the second signing.
Where is it located?
RomantiConn takes place in Trumbull, Connecticut at the Trumbull Marriott located at 180 Hawley Lane, Trumbull.
Are tickets refundable?
Sorry. No, they are not. You can resell them through RomantiConn. Only sell or buy through RomantiConn as many people try to scam readers with fake tickets.
Are children allowed?
They are, but you as the adult parent are responsible for what they experience while at the event. Be mindful that they are not touching things on the tables they shouldn't be. They are not allowed to leave you or run around the event.
Does my child need a ticket to enter?
Yes. All bodies in the space MUST have a paid ticket.
What time will readers be allowed in?
Our first priority will be to check in the authors, vendors, and narrators. Times vary depending on your ticket
