RomantiConn is a fun-filled event brought to you by Kitty Berry Books, where romance authors and readers come together to share their love of reading. It is a reputable, woman-owned and operated small business with high standards of quality.
RomantiConn remains committed to bringing attendees a variety of subgenres to fully explore the vast array of romance while representing a rich blend of backgrounds and orientations, remaining inclusive and representing a wide diversity. RomantiConn supports all authors—from emerging newbies to seasoned best-selling authors, international, independently published, and traditionally published authors alike.
2027 will be a two-day fun-filled weekend held at the Trumbull Mariott in Trumbull, CT. offering an escape from stress and a small vacation away with book friends.
All ages are allowed, but parents need to be mindful that not all tables will be appropriate for all ages. Anyone entering the signing will be required to have a ticket.

2026/27 AI Use Policy Statement for RomantiConn
RomantiConn has always valued and continues to value human creativity. Participants in the event are encouraged to respect the literary community, industry professionals, and standards when creating their work. RomantiConn has never and will not in the future condone the use of generative artificial intelligence (gen-AI) in our creative space.
Because AI can be hard to detect, RomantiConn cannot be held responsible for monitoring everyone participating in the event each year for gen-AI elements. With so many in attendance, it would be impossible to ensure 100% compliance with any anti-genAI policy, which is why we are asking everyone to be honest about their AI usage and consider if this is the right event for you. RomantiConn reserves the right to not accept or remove individuals using AI.
RomantiConn celebrates the creativity of the literary community but recognizes individuals have differing views and practices regarding the use of artificial intelligence. RomantiConn will continue to allow authors the autonomy to remain responsible for their business practices and to make their own decisions. However, those with differing views from the event’s stance are encouraged to seek a different venue for their work.
To ensure a welcoming and respectful environment, everyone is asked to:
• Respect differing opinions and practices regarding all topics.
• Refrain from confronting, criticizing, or harassing anyone. EVER! This includes social media.
• Avoid making assumptions about anyone’s writing process or the use of AI.
• Follow all applicable copyright, privacy, trademark, and event policies.
• Keep discussions respectful and appropriate for the event environment at all times.
The goal of RomantiConn is to provide a safe space to connect and celebrate books without requiring individuals to share the same beliefs, but individuals must use reasonable judgment when using any tools and are responsible for not breaching our policy.
Participants shall not misrepresent AI-generated work as human work, violate copyright or trademark laws, regulations, contracts, or policies, or engage in harassment, discrimination, or fraud.
*This policy will be reviewed periodically and may be updated as AI technology, laws, organizational practices, and associated risks evolve.
